Judith Chantelois, MD, MPH, FACOG
Centra Southside Community Hospital is pleased to announce that Dr. Judith L. Chantelois will be joining the Centra Southside Women's Specialists July 6, 2009. Dr. Chantelois is a highly skilled gynecologist with over 25 years of experience, serving in the Army in the United States and Korea. Her office will be located on the campus of CSCH.
Dr. Chantelois is a graduate of Marquette University and The Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. In addition, Dr. Chancellors completed a residency in General Public Health at the Madigan Army Medical Center at Fort Lewis in Tacoma, Washington.
Dr. Chantelois is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Medical Corps. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa at Marquette University. Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, her professional areas of interest/emphasis are Menopausal Medicine, Adolescent Gynecology, Cervical Dysplasia/Colposcopy and Obstetrics.

Jerry Lucas, MD
As part of its commitment to expand services to patients, Centra Southside Community Hospital is pleased to announce that Dr. Jerry Allen Lucas will be joining the Centra Southside Women's Specialists August 3, 2009. Dr. Lucas, a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist, will be joining Centra Southside Women's Specialists Dr. Chantelois, Dr. Basco, and Dr. Browning. Their offices are located on the campus of CSCH. Dr. Lucas is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and Meharry Medical College of Nashville, Tennessee. He completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Surgery at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
Among awards recognizing his clinical contributions, Dr. Lucas was the First Humanitarian Award Physician Nominee from Hospital Corporation of America, and Research Fellow for the American Heart Association. He is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Richmond Academy of Medicine, and the Richmond OB/GYN Society.
Dr. Lucas is married and has three children. His hobbies include fishing, music, racquetball, woodworking and reading. Please welcome Dr. Lucas to our community.
